What's in my doula bag Vol. 2 an UPDATE.

I have learned so much over the last year as a birth doula. I have been to all kinds of births from home water births to cesarean births for complications. I discovered after doing the up all night zombie walk to my car that my doula bag was really freakin heavy and I was also carrying my messenger bag. Two heavy bags and a very tired body don't mix well. Something had to give and I needed to make life easier.

So, I picked up a bag with wheels and a handle at the thrift store and it is the best $20 I have spent in a very long time. My doula bag is still the Mary Poppins bag or TARDIS bag and I would even say it's a Hermione Granger bag where it is so much bigger on the inside! I fit all of the things that I had in my old bag and was able to fit the things from my messenger bag/purse that I want to take with me.
